Patrol Assists In The Search For Wanted Subject In Miller County
On the afternoon of September 18, 2018, the Miller County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the Missouri State Highway Patrol in apprehending a male subject who fled on foot from a domestic disturbance in rural Miller County.
Troopers from the Lake of the Ozarks area responded to the scene. The Patrol’s helicopter 93MP was requested and responded, also.
Upon arrival, the officers began searching an area on Adams Road. The initial search was unsuccessful, and the Patrol’s pilot and the tactical flight officer began directing officers to outbuildings obscured by trees. At approximately 6 p.m., a trooper and Miller County deputy located the subject laying down inside a hay barn. When spotted, the subject went further into the barn and hid between some round hay bales. A tractor was utilized to remove the bales and at 11:29 p.m., the subject was located and taken into custody without incident.
Further inquiries regarding the arrest should be directed to the Miller County Sheriff's Office.
