Troop E Promotion Announced
Captain Jeffrey N. Vitale, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, announces the following promotions effective February 1, 2017.
Trooper Shayne K. Talburt has been promoted to corporal and designated the assistant zone commander of Zone 2, Butler and Ripley counties. Talburt was appointed to the Patrol on January 6, 2008. After graduating from the Patrol Academy, he was assigned to Troop F, Zone 4. In October 2011, he transferred to Troop E, Zone 1. He and his wife Stephanie (Smith) Talburt have two children.
Trooper John J. West has been promoted to corporal and designated the assistant zone commander of Zone 1, Butler and Ripley counties. West was appointed to the Patrol on July 1, 2008. After graduating from the Patrol Academy, he was assigned to Troop C, Zone 19. In October 2011, he transferred to Troop E, Zone 3. He and his wife Christy (Jameson) West have three children.
