Troop A Hosts Grand Opening Of New Headquarters
Colonel Michael A. Turner, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, invites members of the media to celebrate the opening of the new Troop A Headquarters in Lee’s Summit, MO, at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025. The event will be held at the new facility at 1900 NE Independence Avenue, Lee’s Summit, MO.
The speakers will include Missouri Department of Public Safety Director Mark James and MSHP Colonel Turner. MSHP Major Scott A. Shipers, Executive Services Bureau, and Captain Steven V. Wilhoit, commanding officer of Troop A, will also make remarks.
The new location features state-of-the-art facilities, improved technology, expanded meeting spaces, and enhanced officer training areas. Tours will be available after the ceremony.
