EMPHASIS: New Trooper In Boone County

Captain D.A. Schmidt, commanding officer, Troop F, Missouri State Highway Patrol, has announced that Trooper Patrick D. Sublette, a member of the 86th Recruit Class, has been assigned to Troop F, Zone 10, which encompasses Boone County. Tpr. Sublette will live in Columbia.
Tpr. Sublette, 29, was previously employed as a deputy with the Audrain County Sheriff’s Department. He was employed by the Patrol as a recruit on January 8, 2007, and graduated from the Patrol Academy on July 13, 2007.
Tpr. Sublette is a graduate of Community R-VI High School, in Laddonia, MO. In 1999, he earned a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice from Central Missouri State University, in Warrensburg, MO. In 2003, he received his master’s of science degree in information technology/software engineering from Central Missouri State University. He will begin his new assignment on July 30, 2007. The new trooper will work under the supervision of Sergeant Michael A. Cunningham, and his field training officer will be Corporal Paul W. Meyers.
