EMPHASIS: Two New Troopers Assigned To Troop A
Captain Greg Primm, commanding officer of Troop A, Lee’s Summit, is pleased to announce the assignment of two new troopers within Troop A. The new troopers were members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 125th Recruit Class, which graduated from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy on April 10, 2026. The new troopers will report for duty in their respective assignments on April 27, 2026.
Trooper Terrence R. Conness, a native of Lamar, MO, has been assigned to Zone 13, which serves the citizens of Pettis County. Trooper Conness graduated from Warsaw High School in Warsaw, MO, in 2016. Prior to his appointment to the Patrol, Trooper Conness attended State Fair Community College in Sedalia, MO. Trooper Conness previously served the citizens of Sedalia as a police officer for the Sedalia Police Department.
Trooper Kane M. Dobson, a native of Blue Springs, MO, has been assigned to Zone 5, which serves the citizens of Ray and Carroll counties. Trooper Dobson graduated from Lexington High School in Lexington, MO, in 2020. Prior to his appointment to the Patrol, Trooper Dobson attended the University of Central Missouri. Trooper Dobson previously served the citizens of Odessa, MO, as a police officer for the Odessa Police Department.
