EMPHASIS: Troop B Promotions


Captain John W. Elliott, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, is pleased to announce the following Troop B promotions effective February 1, 2008.
Corporal Barry W. Graskewicz, of Keytesville, Missouri, was promoted to sergeant and designated the zone commander of Zone 11, which serves the citizens of Monroe and Randolph counties. Graskewicz, a native of Pinckneyville, Illinois, was appointed to the Patrol on August 1, 1993. After graduating from the Patrol Academy, he was assigned to Troop C, Jefferson County. On November 1, 1996, he transferred to Troop B, and was assigned to Zone 3, which serves the citizens of Chariton and Linn counties. He was promoted to corporal on December 1, 1999, and was designated the assistant zone commander of Zone 3. He is a graduate of Pinckneyville High School and holds a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice from the University of Missouri - St. Louis. He is married to Wendy (Badgley), a native of Steelville, Illinois, and they have three children: Bailey, 8; Riley, 5; and Brady, 2.
Trooper Rollie B. Skaggs, of Brookfield, Missouri, was promoted to corporal and designated the assistant zone commander of Zone 3, which serves the citizens of Chariton and Linn counties. Skaggs, a native of Houston, Missouri, was appointed to the Patrol on July 1, 1996. After graduating from the Patrol Academy, he was assigned to Troop B, Zone 3. He is a graduate of Cabool High School and served in the United States Marine Corps for six years. He has one daughter: Camry, 7.
