EMPHASIS: Upcoming Graduations

121st Recruit Graduation

Colonel Eric T. Olson, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, announces that nine troopers will graduate from the Patrol’s Accelerated Law Enforcement Academy on Friday, October 11, 2024. The ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. at the Patrol Academy’s gymnasium. The graduation ceremony will be live streamed on the Patrol’s Facebook page. The 121st Recruit Class reported to the Academy on July 1, 2024. The new troopers will report to duty in their assigned troops on October 21, 2024.

The Honorable Kelly Broniec, Supreme Court of Missouri, will administer the Oath of Office to the new troopers. Missouri Department of Public Safety Director Sandra K. Karsten will provide the keynote address and Colonel Olson will also address the class. The Troop F Color Guard will present the colors and Sergeant Andrew Henry, Troop H, will sing the national anthem. Mr. Stephen E. Swink will provide the invocation and benediction.

17th CVO Class

Colonel Eric T. Olson, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, announces nine commercial vehicle officers will graduate from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy on Friday, October 18, 2024. The ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. at the Patrol Academy’s gymnasium. The 17th Commercial Vehicle Officers Class reported to the Academy on July 1, 2024.

The Honorable Scott T. Evans, Municipal Judge for the City of Jefferson, Missouri, will administer the Oath of Office to the new commercial vehicle officers. Ed Hassinger, Interim Director, Missouri Department of Transportation, will be the guest speaker during the graduation ceremony. Colonel Olson and Lt. Trois L. Maloney, Q/TND, will also address the class. CVO Irie B. Kudrin, will sing the national anthem. Pastor Richard Mahan, Success First Apostolic Church, will provide the invocation and the benediction.
