EMPHASIS: New Trooper Assigned To Troop D

Captain D. Scott Sater, commanding officer of Troop D, Springfield, MO, is pleased to announce the assignment of a new trooper to Troop D. Trooper Robert Watkins was a member of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 119th Recruit Class that graduated from the Patrol Academy on April 17, 2024.

Trooper Watkins graduated from Central High School in 2008. In 2012, he graduated from Graceland University with a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice and sociology. He will be assigned to Zone 2, which serves Greene County. Prior to joining the Patrol, Trooper Watkins served as a deputy sheriff in Johnson County, Missouri.
