EMPHASIS: Additional Troopers Assigned to Troop B








Captain John W. Elliott, Commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, Missouri, announces the appointment of three additional troopers who were assigned to Troop B effective December 2, 2005. The additional officers were members of the 84th Patrol Recruit Class and have been in training at the Patrol Academy since May 31, 2005.





Trooper Gerald R. Fenton, 29, a native of Odessa, Missouri, was assigned to Zone 2, which serves the citizens of Macon and Shelby Counties. He graduated from Odessa High School In Odessa, Missouri, and attended Park University in Parkville, Missouri, where he studied business management. Prior to his appointment to the Patrol, Trooper Fenton served in the United States Marine Corps. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two children: Alexandria, 6; and David, 3.





Trooper Robert L. Heldenbrand, 22, a native of Gallatin, Missouri, was assigned to Zone 4, which serves the citizens of Putnam and Sullivan Counties. He graduated from Gallatin High School in Gallatin, Missouri, and attended Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. Prior to his appointment to the Patrol Trooper Heldenbrand worked at Wal-Mart in Cameron, Missouri. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have three children: Mattlynn, 7; Keaton, 6; and Nickolas, 1.





Trooper William R. Koch, 22, a native of Quincy, Illinois, was assigned to Zone 7, which serves the citizens of Knox and Lewis Counties. He graduated from Quincy Senior High School, and holds an Associate of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from John Wood Community College in Quincy, Illinois. Prior to his appointment to the Patrol, Trooper Koch worked as a construction worker in Quincy, Illinois.
