EMPHASIS:
Troop C Officers To Conduct MCSAP SAFETE Operations in Jefferson County
Captain Stephen B. Ferrier, commanding officer of Troop C, announces that sometime during the month of December, Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program SAFETE and enforcement projects will be conducted in Jefferson County. During the operations, troopers will concentrate their efforts on locating commercial vehicles being operated in an unsafe manner, as well as drivers committing hazardous moving violations. Enforcement efforts will focus on high crash corridors and in high risk areas, such as rural roads or highway work zones.
The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on Missouri’s roadways, we trust that every driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay attention, and drive sober.
