EMPHASIS: Five New Troopers Assigned To Troop A

Captain Steven V. Wilhoit, commanding officer of Troop A, Lee’s Summit, is pleased to announce the assignment of five new troopers within the Troop A area. The new troopers were members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 113th Recruit Class that graduated from the Patrol Academy on June 24, 2022. The new troopers will report for duty, in their respective assignments, on July 11, 2022.

Trooper Braeden A. Perry, a native of Kansas City, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 2, which serves the citizens of Platte County. Trooper Perry graduated from Platte County High School in Platte City, Missouri. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice from Park University in Parkville, Missouri. Trooper Perry is married to Chandler (Gallagher).

Trooper Tyler R. Peoples, a native of Lawson, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 5, which serves the citizens of Ray and Carroll counties. Trooper Peoples graduated from Ramstein High School in Kaiserslautern, Germany. He holds a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri. Trooper Peoples is married to Victoria (Gilliam) and they have two children.

Trooper John M. Haines, a native of Deepwater, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 8, which serves the citizens of Lafayette County. Trooper Haines graduated from Lakeland High School in Deepwater, Missouri. He holds an Associate of Arts in industrial maintenance from State Fair Community College in Sedalia, Missouri.

Trooper Christian J. Drum, a native of Joplin, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 11, which serves the citizens of Cass County. Trooper Drum graduated from Webb City High School in Webb City, Missouri.

Trooper Madeleine C. Mennemeyer, a native of Troy, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 12, which serves the citizens of Johnson County. Trooper Mennemeyer graduated from Troy Buchanan High School in Troy, Missouri. She holds a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri.
