EMPHASIS: Troop A Announces Promotions

Captain Gregory D. Primm, commanding officer of Troop A, Lee's Summit, announces the following promotions effective October 1, 2026.

Trooper Gregory A. Stineman has been promoted to the rank of corporal and designated the assistant zone supervisor of Zone 13, serving the citizens of Pettis County.

Corporal Stineman was appointed to the Patrol on August 2, 2021, as a member of the 112th Recruit Class. Upon graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, he was assigned to Troop A, Zone 11, serving the citizens of Cass County. In August 2024, he transferred to Troop A, Zone 13, serving the citizens of Pettis County, where he remained until his promotion.

Cpl. Stineman was born in Kansas City, MO. He was homeschooled and graduated in 2016. Prior to his appointment to the Patrol, Cpl. Stineman served the citizens of Benton County as a deputy for the Benton County Sheriff’s Office. Cpl. Stineman is married.

Trooper Micah G. Bennett has been promoted to the rank of corporal and designated the assistant zone supervisor of Zone 13, serving the citizens of Pettis County.

Corporal Bennett was appointed to the Patrol on July 1, 2019, as a member of the 108th Recruit Class. Upon graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, he was assigned to Troop C, Zone 2, serving the citizens of north St. Louis County. In July 2022, Cpl. Bennett transferred to Pettis County where he remained until his promotion.

Cpl. Bennett was born in Versailles, MO. He was homeschooled and graduated from Pensacola Christian Academy in 2016. Before joining the Patrol, Cpl. Bennett attended State Fair Community College in Sedalia, MO, where he obtained an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 2018. Cpl. Bennett is engaged to be married.
