EMPHASIS: Troop B Promotion Effective September 1, 2026
Captain Brian N. Anderson, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, announces the following promotion effective September 1, 2026. Sergeant Christopher M. Turner will be promoted to the rank of lieutenant and assigned to Troop B Headquarters.
Turner joined the Patrol on January 7, 2007, as a member of the 86th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop C, Zone 9, serving the citizens of St. Charles County. On February 28, 2011, he transferred to the Gaming Division and was assigned to the Ameristar Casino in St. Charles. Turner was promoted to corporal and transferred to Lumiere Place Casino (now Horseshoe Casino) in St. Louis, MO, on June 1, 2012. On August 1, 2015, he was promoted to sergeant and transferred to Mark Twain Casino in La Grange, MO.
Lieutenant Turner is from Chandlerville, IL, and graduated from A-C Central High School in Ashland, IL. He earned a bachelor’s degree in law enforcement and justice administration from Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. Lt. Turner is married and has two children.
