EMPHASIS: New Troopers Assigned To Troop D
Captain Dale O. Jinkens, commanding officer of Troop D, Springfield, is pleased to announce the assignment of two new troopers to Troop D. The following troopers were members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 126th Recruit Class that graduated from the Patrol Academy on October 16, 2026.
Trooper David W. Armitage will be assigned to Zone 12, which serves the citizens of Christian County. Tpr. Armitage is a Spokane, MO, native who graduated from Spokane High School in 2023.
Trooper Tyler L. Evans will be assigned to Zone 10, which serves the citizens of Webster County. Tpr. Evans is a native of Strafford, MO, who graduated from Strafford High School in 2009. Tpr. Evans also attended the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK.
