EMPHASIS: Corporal Dale R. Reuter, Troop H, Promoted To Sergeant

Captain Clark N. Stratton, commanding officer, Troop H, St. Joseph, announces the following promotion effective July 1, 2022.

Corporal Dale R. Reuter, Troop H, has been promoted to sergeant and designated zone supervisor of Zone 6, Andrew and Buchanan counties.

Reuter was appointed to the Patrol on October 20, 2002, as a member of the 80th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, Reuter was assigned to Troop H, Zone 3, Gentry and Harrison counties. In November 2006, he transferred to Troop H, Zone 2, Nodaway and Worth counties. Reuter was promoted to corporal in February 2006, and designated assistant zone supervisor of Troop H, Zone 9, Grundy, Livingston, and Mercer counties. In January 2022, he transferred to Troop H, Zone 5, Andrew and Buchanan counties.

Sergeant Reuter was born in Kirkwood, Missouri, and graduated from Fox High School in Arnold, Missouri. He graduated from Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in social science in 1991. Sergeant Reuter is married to Betty (Samson) and they have three children.
