One New Trooper Assigned To Troop I
Captain Eddie A. Blaylock, commanding officer of Troop I, Rolla, is pleased to announce the assignment of one new trooper to Troop I. Trooper Peyton L. Mason was a member of the 113th Recruit Class that reported to the Academy on January 18, 2022. Trooper Mason graduated on June 24, 2022, after completing 25 weeks of training at the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, Missouri. Trooper Mason was previously employed as a detention officer with the Jasper County Sheriff's Department, in Carthage, Missouri.
Trooper Mason will be assigned to Zone 8, Laclede County. Trooper Mason’s field training officer will be Corporal Michael Mizer. Trooper Mason is a 2019 graduate of Webb City High School, in Webb City, Missouri. Trooper Mason continued his education at Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri, where he studied business administration.
