Troop C Sergeant Tycee M. Williams Promoted To Lieutenant
Captain Stephen B. Ferrier, commanding officer of Troop C, Weldon Spring, announces the following promotion effective November 1, 2020:
Sergeant Tycee M. Williams was promoted to the rank of lieutenant and transferred from Troop C, Zone 3, St. Louis and Jefferson counties, to Troop C Headquarters, Weldon Spring, where he will serve as a member of the Troop C command staff.
Williams was appointed to the Patrol on October 14, 2004, as a member of the 83rd Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol's Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop C, Zone 3, serving St. Louis and Jefferson counties. On July 1, 2010, he was promoted to corporal and designated assistant zone supervisor in Zone 11, serving Franklin County. On July 1, 2011 he transferred to Zone 3, St. Louis and Jefferson counties, and served as the assistant zone supervisor. On December 1, 2016, he was promoted to sergeant and designated zone supervisor of that same zone.
Lieutenant Williams was born in Sikeston, Missouri. He graduated from East Prairie High School in East Prairie, Missouri, in 1995. He attended Southwest Tennessee Community College in Memphis, Tennessee.
