New Lieutenant Assigned To Troop I
Captain Eddie A. Blaylock, commanding officer of Troop I, announces the promotion of Sergeant Gregory Dubois to lieutenant effective March 1, 2021.
Dubois graduated from the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in 1997, as a member of the 73rd Recruit Class. Dubois was assigned to Phelps County where he served from 1997 to 2013. He was promoted to corporal in 2008 and sergeant in 2010. Dubois served as a K-9 handler from 1999 through 2003. In August 2013, Dubois transferred to the Division of Drug and Crime Control, where he has served as the unit supervisor for Troop I.
Lieutenant Dubois grew up in Salem, Missouri, and graduated from Salem High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice administration from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri, in 2006. He completed Leadership in Police Organizations training in 2016. Lt. Dubois and his wife have three children.
