EMPHASIS: Troop E Promotion Announced

Captain Philip E. Gregory, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, is pleased to announce the following promotion effective September 1, 2022.

Corporal James A. Wilson will be promoted to sergeant and designated the zone supervisor of Zone 1, Butler and Ripley counties. Wilson was appointed to the Patrol on October 20, 2002, and upon graduating from the Patrol Academy was assigned to Troop E, Zone 3, Wayne County. In 2011, he transferred to Zone 2. On January 1, 2014, he was promoted to corporal of Troop E, Zone 2, Butler and Ripley counties. He is a native of Doniphan, Missouri, and is a graduate of Doniphan High School and Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Before being appointed to the Patrol, he worked for the Doniphan (MO) Police Department. He is married to Joanna (Robinson), and they have two children.
