Troop E Promotions Announced
Captain Philip E. Gregory, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, announces the following promotions effective March 1, 2021.
Trooper Richard A. Walker, of Fredericktown, Missouri, will be promoted to corporal and will remain in his assignment as a marine operations trooper. He was appointed to the Patrol on January 16, 2001. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop E, Zone 8, New Madrid and Pemiscot counties, and later transferred to Zone 12, Iron and Madison counties. On April 1, 2018, he transferred to Zone 15, marine operations. He is married and has two children.
Trooper Marcus L. Schlief, of Doniphan, Missouri, will be promoted to corporal and designated the assistant zone supervisor of Zone 1 which serves the citizens of Butler and Ripley counties. He was appointed to the Patrol on January 5, 2015. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop E Zone 1, Butler and Ripley counties. He is married and has two children.
