Troop E Announces Promotions
Captain Jason J. Cluver, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, is pleased to announce the following promotions effective August 1, 2023.
Trooper Christopher E. Leach has been promoted to the rank of corporal and designated the assistant zone supervisor of Zone 2, which serves the citizens of Butler and Ripley counties. Leach was appointed to the Patrol on January 16, 2013, as a member of the 96th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol's Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, he was assigned to Troop E, Zone 2. Corporal Leach graduated from Cameron High School and holds a bachelor’s degree in conservation enforcement from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri. He and his wife, Malia, have one child.
Trooper Caleb M. Morgan has been promoted to the rank of corporal and will remain assigned to Troop E, Zone 15, as a marine enforcement trooper. Morgan was appointed to the Patrol on July 2, 2018, as a member of the 106th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol's Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, he was assigned to Troop E, Zone 1, which serves the citizens of Butler and Ripley counties. In May 2020 he transferred to Zone 15. Corporal Morgan is a graduate of Clearwater High School in Piedmont, Missouri.
