EMPHASIS: New Recruiter Assigned To Troop E

Colonel Ron Replogle, superintendant of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, is pleased to announce the assignment of a Patrol recruiter to the Southeast Missouri area. On June 20, 2010, Sergeant Larry R. Clark was designated as the Troop E recruitment officer. Sgt. Clark is responsible for recruiting activities in Southeast Missouri, including Poplar Bluff, Sikeston, Caruthersville, Rolla, Ft. Leonard Wood, and surrounding areas.

In addition to his duties as a trooper, he will attend community events, college career fairs, local school events, speaking engagements, and other activities in order to attract the best qualified individuals to the Patrol. Recruiters also participate in community alliance programs, provide presentations for young people, and serve as an information source for individuals interested in working for the Patrol.

Sgt. Clark is a 23-year-veteran of the Patrol. He Clark is originally from the Sikeston area. He and his wife, Marilyn, have two sons: Lawrence and Spenser. Individuals or groups interested in having Sgt. Clark attend an event or to get more information can call 1-800-796-7000.
