EMPHASIS:
Troop H Releases Enforcement Totals
A total of 28 citations and 46 warnings were issued in conjunction with a hazardous moving enforcement operation in Atchison and Holt Counties on June 17, 2018. Also, one person was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Totals from this enforcement effort include:
20-- speed citations
3-- other hazardous moving violation citations
3-- non-moving violation citations
1-- no insurance citation
1-- following to closely citation
1-- arrest for driving while intoxicated
“The result of this operation is an example of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s commitment to keeping our roadways safe through strict enforcement,” said Captain McDonald.
The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on Missouri’s roadways, we trust that every driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay attention, and drive sober.
