EMPHASIS: Changes Announced For Cape Girardeau Driver Examination Station

Captain Jeffrey N. Vitale, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, announces that the motorcycle skills portion of the testing process has been suspended on Thursdays at the Cape Girardeau Driver Examination Station until November 2018, due to another event at the site. Written examinations and Class E and Class F skills tests will be offered as normally scheduled. The motorcycle skills testing process is still offered at Cape Girardeau each Monday and Friday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and at the Dexter Driver Examination Station each Thursday when pavement is dry. For more information on testing availability, please contact the Driver Examination Division at (573) 840-9500.

The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on Missouri’s roadways, we trust that every driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay attention, and drive sober. “Don’t Violate The Trust.” Follow Troop E on Twitter for the most current news @MSHPTrooperE
