EMPHASIS: New Troopers Assigned To Troop E

Captain Jeffrey N. Vitale, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, is pleased to announce the assignment of three new troopers to Troop E. The new troopers were members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 102nd Recruit Class that graduated from the Patrol Academy today, June 24, 2016. The new troopers report for duty on July 11, 2016.

Trooper Ronald K. Adams, of Portageville, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 8, which serves the citizens of New Madrid and Pemiscot counties. Trooper Adams is a graduate from Portageville High School. Trooper Adams is married to Kristine (Miller) Adams and they have three children. Trooper Adams’ field training officer will be Trooper Dylan J. DeJournett.

Trooper Caleb M. Elam, of Oak Ridge, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 7, which serves the citizens of Mississippi, New Madrid, and Scott counties. Trooper Elam is a graduate of Oak Ridge High School and holds an Associate of Science degree in criminal justice from Mineral Area College in Park Hills, Missouri. Trooper Elam’s field training officer will be Trooper Blake D. Wunderlich.

Trooper Ryan J. Windham, of Dexter, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 6, which serves the citizens of Mississippi, New Madrid, and Scott counties. Trooper Windham is a graduate of Dexter High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Trooper Windham’s field training officer will be Trooper Brooks A. Pratt.
