EMPHASIS: Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop I On Twitter

Captain James W. Remillard, commanding officer of Troop I, Rolla, announces Troop I will increase its use of Twitter to help inform the public of activities occurring in the six counties that comprise Troop I, as well as statewide. Some of the information to be posted on Twitter will include daily activities in the troop, traffic and water safety messages, and news releases. The Twitter account will also be used to notify the public of road closures as the result of traffic crashes, flooding or other weather conditions. Photographs and short videos will accompany the tweets when applicable. Captain Remillard would like to encourage the public to follow Troop I on Twitter @MSHPTrooperI.
The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on Missouri’s roadways, we trust that every driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay attention, and drive sober. “Don’t Violate The Trust.”
