EMPHASIS: New Trooper In Osage/Gasconade Counties


Captain D.A. Schmidt, commanding officer, Troop F, Missouri State Highway Patrol, has announced that Trooper Brandon W. Adamson, a member of the 89th Recruit Class, has been assigned to Troop F, Zone 12, which encompasses Osage and Gasconade counties.
Tpr. Adamson, 26, previously was employed as a forester in Columbia, MO. He was employed by the Patrol as a recruit on January 16, 2009, and graduated from the Patrol Academy on July 10, 2009.
Tpr. Adamson is a graduate of Glendale High School, Springfield, MO. In 2006, he earned a bachelor’s of science degree in forestry from the University of Missouri, Columbia, MO. He will begin his new assignment on July 27, 2009. The new trooper will work under the supervision of Sergeant Dave D. Spurgeon, and his field training officer will be Corporal Craig R. Kicker.
