EMPHASIS: July 1 Promotions


Colonel Ron Replogle, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, announces the following promotions effective July 1, 2010:

Lieutenant Dwayne F. Isringhausen will be promoted to the rank of captain and designated commanding officer of Troop G, Willow Springs. He is a 31-year veteran of the Patrol.

Isringhausen was appointed to the Patrol on January 15, 1979, as a member of the 49th Recruit Class. Upon graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, Isringhausen was assigned to Troop A, Zone 12, Ray County. In 1984, he transferred from Troop A to Troop D, Zone 9, Dade County. Isringhausen was promoted to corporal in December 1990, and designated assistant zone supervisor of Troop D, Zone 9. He transferred to the Division of Drug and Crime Control, General Headquarters, in 1991. Isringhausen was promoted to sergeant in January 1996. In October 1999, he was promoted to lieutenant and assigned to Troop G, Willow Springs.

Isringhausen was born in Staunton, IL. He graduated from Edwardsville Senior High School in Edwardsville, IL, in 1974. In 1978, he earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in religion from Southwest Baptist College, in Bolivar, MO. Capt. Isringhausen and his wife, Sharon (Todd), have four children: Bradley Isringhausen, Mark Isringhausen, MSHP Trooper Seth D. Isringhausen (Troop D), and Tara Thomas.

Sergeant Philip E. Gregory will be promoted to lieutenant and assigned to the Division of Drug and Crime Control, General Headquarters, Jefferson City. He will supervise District III, which includes DDCC Units in Troop C, Weldon Spring, and Troop E, Poplar Bluff.

Gregory was appointed to the Patrol on August 1, 1993, as a member of the 66th Recruit Class. Upon graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, he was assigned to Troop E, Zone 11, Stoddard County. In 1995, he transferred to Troop E, Zone 5, Cape Girardeau, Scott, and Bollinger counties. In 1997, Gregory transferred from Troop E to Troop I, Zone 2, Phelps County. Gregory was promoted to corporal in 1998, and designated assistant zone supervisor of Zone 2. In 1998, he transferred to the Division of Drug and Crime Control, General Headquarters, Jefferson City. Gregory was promoted to sergeant in 2001.

Gregory was born in Fredericktown, MO. He graduated from Fredericktown High School in 1984. Lt. Gregory and his wife, Tanya, have three children: Robert Gregory, Dylan Miller, and Chelsey Miller.

Sergeant Paul D. Kerperin will be promoted to the rank of lieutenant and assigned to Field Operations Bureau, General Headquarters, Jefferson City. He is a 14-year veteran of the Patrol.

Kerperin was appointed to the Patrol on July 1, 1995, as a member of the 70th Recruit Class. Upon graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, Kerperin was assigned to Troop F, Zone 12, Osage and Gasconade counties. In 2000, he was designated assistant zone supervisor and assigned to Troop F, Zone 2, Cole County. Kerperin was promoted to sergeant and assigned to Troop F Headquarters in 2007.

Kerperin was born in Jefferson City, MO. He graduated from Blair Oaks High School in Jefferson City, MO. In 1994, he graduated from Lincoln University, in Jefferson City, MO, with a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice. Lt. Kerperin and his wife, Shauna (Huenink), have three children: Kallie, Kasey, and Brady.
