Cape Girardeau Driver Examination Station Closed Monday, August 21, 2017
Captain Jeffrey N. Vitale, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, announces that due to traffic and safety concerns during the upcoming eclipse, the Cape Girardeau Driver Examination Station will be closed on Monday, August 21, 2017. Alternate testing locations for this day include Caruthersville, Poplar Bluff, and Sikeston. The Cape Girardeau Driver Examination Station will resume normal testing from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2017. The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint.
