EMPHASIS: Colonel Sandra K. Karsten Announces Promotion
Colonel Sandra K. Karsten, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, announces the following promotion effective May 1, 2017:
HR Mgr. Amanda L. Renn, Q/HRD, is being promoted to assistant director of the Human Resources Division, General Headquarters, Jefferson City, MO.
Renn joined the Patrol as a personnel analyst in the Human Resources Division on August 27, 2006. She was promoted to Personnel Analyst II on August 27, 2007, and human resources manager on May 12, 2013. Renn grew up in New Bloomfield, MO, and graduated from Helias High School in Jefferson City, MO, in 2001. She earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration with an emphasis in business management from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2004. In 2009, Renn earned her MBA from Columbia College in Columbia, MO. Assistant Director Renn and her husband, Mr. Leslie Renn, have two sons, Luke and Mason.
