Captain Stephen B. Ferrier, commanding officer of Troop C, Weldon Spring, is pleased to announce the assignment of eight new troopers within the Troop C area. The new troopers were members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 110th Recruit Class that graduated from the Patrol Academy on January 20, 2021. The new troopers will report for duty, in their respective assignments, on February 16, 2021.
Trooper Kyle G. Barba, a native of Lakewood, California, has been assigned to Zone 1, which serves the citizens of North St. Louis County. Trooper Barba graduated from Los Alamitos High School in Los Alamitos, California. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from the University of California--Long Beach, in Long Beach, California. Prior to his appointment with the Patrol, Trooper Barba served in the United States Army.
Trooper Zachariah P. Beckerman, a native of Perryville, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 12, which serves the citizens of Jefferson County. Trooper Beckerman graduated from Perryville High School in Perryville, Missouri. Prior to his appointment with the Patrol, he served in the United States Army and is currently serving in the Army National Guard. Trooper Beckerman is married and has two children.
Trooper Thomas W. Brewer, a native of Belle, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 13, which serves the citizens of Jefferson County. Trooper Brewer graduated from Belle High School in Belle, Missouri. He holds an Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri.
Trooper Delandis O. Gillespie, a native of Charleston, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 2, which serves the citizens of North St. Louis County. Trooper Gillespie graduated from Scott County Central High School in Sikeston, Missouri. Prior to his appointment to the Patrol he served in the United States Navy. Trooper Gillespie has three children.
Trooper Bradley T. Gregory, a native of Jonesburg, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 1, which serves the citizens of North St. Louis County. Trooper Gregory graduated from Montgomery High School in Montgomery City, Missouri. He holds an associate of arts in social sciences from East Centeral College in Union, Missouri.
Trooper Cameron L. Kurtzman, a native of Chesterfield, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 12, which serves the citizens of Jefferson County. Trooper Kurtzman graduated from Lafayette High School in Wildwood, Missouri. He holds an associate of applied science in criminal jusice from St. Louis Community College in Wildwood, Missouri.
Trooper Eric J. McBride, a native of St. Clair, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 9, which serves the citizens of St. Charles County. Trooper McBride graduated from Independent Baptist Christian Academy in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in pastoral ministries from Master’s Baptist College in Fargo, North Dakota. Trooper McBride is married to McKenzie (Marroco).
Trooper Rudo K. Stone, a native of Herrin, Illinois, has been assigned to Zone 2, which serves the citizens of North St. Louis County. Trooper Stone graduated from Murphysboro High School in Murphysboro, Illinois. After graduation he attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City, in Kansas City, Missouri. Prior to joining the Patrol, Trooper Stone served in the United States Army. Trooper Stone is married to Sherry (Wells).
