Colonel J. Bret Johnson, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, announces that the no-wake policy at the Lake of the Ozarks instituted Thursday has been lifted, effective immediately.

The Patrol reminds boaters that this is one of the busiest days of the year on the Lake. Boaters are asked to do their part by following Missouri’s boating laws. With more boats on the water, it is even more important to remain alert for other boats and swimmers, to be courteous on the water, and to pay attention when operating your vessel.
