Troop G Announces Promotion
Captain Bruce D. Fiske, commanding officer of Troop G, Willow Springs, announces the following Troop G promotion effective April 1, 2020.
Trooper Thomas W. Meyer was promoted to corporal, and designated the assistant zone supervisor of Zone 8, Carter and Reynolds counties. Meyer was appointed to the Patrol on January 2, 2014. After graduating the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop D, Greene County. On April 1, 2019, he transferred to Troop G, Zone 6, Southern Howell and Oregon counties. He is a native of West Plains, Missouri, and graduated from West Plains High School. He attended Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in government. He and his wife, Kylie (Collins) Meyer, have two children, Ava and Elliott.
