EMPHASIS: Troop H Releases July Fourth Enforcement Totals
Captain Clark N. Stratton, commanding officer, Troop H, St. Joseph, announces the following traffic totals for the July Fourth holiday period. Troop H troopers participated in several enforcement operations from Friday, July 1, 2022, through Monday, July 4, 2022, meaning every available trooper was on the road enforcing traffic laws and assisting motorists. The special operations were designed to reduce traffic crashes and assist the motoring public. During the reporting period, Troop H reported no fatal traffic crashes and investigated 10 vehicle crashes resulting in no injuries. Also, troopers arrested eight persons for driving while intoxicated and 15 for drug violations. Additional totals from these special operations include 184 citations, 353 warnings, and 33 motorists assisted.
