EMPHASIS: Troop D Announces Promotion

Captain John M. Enderle, commanding officer of Troop D, Springfield, Missouri, announces the following promotion:

Effective May 1, 2020, Trooper Justin Henderson was promoted to the rank of corporal and designated the assistant supervisor of Zone 9, which serves St. Clair and Cedar counties. Henderson was appointed to the Missouri State Highway Patrol on June 29, 2003, as a member of the 81st Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, He was assigned to Troop A, Zone 11, Cass County. On September 2006, he transferred to Troop D Zone 4, Taney County. On March 2015, he transferred to Zone 21, as a marine operations trooper. He was assigned to Table Rock Lake out of Long Creek Marina. On September 2017, he transferred to Zone 15, Taney and Stone counties until his promotion.

Corporal Henderson was born in Springfield, Missouri. He graduated from Hollister High School in 1990. Before joining the Patrol, he served in the United States Army from 1990-1997. While in the military, he attended Central Texas College. He worked at MoDOT in Branson, MO, from 1997-2003. Corporal Henderson is married to Misty (Harris) Henderson and has two grown sons, Colten and Zachary, and five grandchildren.
