EMPHASIS:
Missouri State Highway Patrol To Host Youth Career Day
On Tuesday, July 23, 2019, the Missouri State Highway Patrol will host a Youth Career Day at the Springfield Boys & Girls Club, 1410 North Freemont, Springfield, Missouri. This program will provide a unique hands-on experience for the area youth, and enable them to learn about the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The program will give the participants the opportunity to better understand how the Patrol functions within their communities, while at the same time exposing them to the many career paths the Highway Patrol offers. Troopers hope to strengthen the bond between themselves and the communities they serve. It is hoped the Youth Career Day will result in better ways to communicate with and understand the viewpoints of today’s young men and women.
The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Every day as we travel on Missouri’s roadways, we trust that every other driver on the road is going to obey the speed limit, pay attention, and drive sober. “
Don’t Violate The Trust.”
