EMPHASIS: New Troopers Assigned To Troop F

Captain Gregory D. Kindle, commanding officer, Troop F, Jefferson City, announces four new troopers have been assigned to Troop F. The troopers began training at the Missouri State Highway Patrol Academy on January 2, 2014, and graduated on June 27, 2014. The new troopers reported for duty on July 14, 2014, and began working with a field training officer. The newly assigned troopers are:

Trooper Matthew P. Acord, of Bonne Terre, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 18, which serves Miller County. Trooper Acord graduated from Winona High School, Winona, Missouri. He received an associate’s of arts degree in criminal justice from Mineral Area College, Park Hills, Missouri.
Trooper Acord’s field training officer is Corporal Scott B. White.

Trooper Jacob R. Hardy, of McKenzie, Tennessee, has been assigned to Zone 11, which
covers Camden County. Trooper Hardy graduated from Henry County High School in
Paris, Tennessee, and received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Bethel University, McKenzie, Tennessee. He is married to Rachel (Jowers) Hardy. Trooper Hardy’s field training officer is Corporal Benjamin J. Blankenbeker.

Trooper Brandon L. Harris, of Jefferson City, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 3, which
patrols Boone County. Trooper Harris graduated from Waynesville High School in
Waynesville, Missouri. He attended Lincoln University, Jefferson City, Missouri, and was formerly employed by the Missouri Department of Corrections. He is married to Natasha (Cooper) Harris. Trooper Harris’ field training officer is Trooper Devin W. Foust.

Trooper Matthew R. Parker, of Springfield, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 5, which
encompasses Camden County. Trooper Parker graduated from Spirit Lake High School in
Spirit Lake, Iowa, and received a bachelor’s degree in English from Drury University,
Springfield, Missouri. He is currently a member of the Air Force Reserves located at Whiteman Air Force Base, Knob Noster, Missouri. Trooper Parker’s field training officer is Trooper Matthew L. Rice.


In support of “The Drive To ZERO Highway Deaths,” the Patrol encourages motorists to protect themselves and their passengers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint.
