Troop G Announces January Promotions
Captain Bruce Fiske, commanding officer of Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, announces the following promotions that took effect in January 2025:
Sergeant Justin D. Piccinino
Effective January 1, 2025, Corporal Justin D. Piccinino was promoted to the rank of sergeant and designated as the zone supervisor of Zone 2, which serves Wright and Texas counties.
Sergeant Piccinino began his career with the Missouri State Highway Patrol on May 29, 2005, as a member of the 84th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Missouri State Highway Patrol Law Enforcement Academy on December 2, 2005, he was initially assigned to Troop C, Zone 13, in Jefferson County. On April 1, 2008, he transferred to Troop G, Zone 5, covering Douglas and Ozark counties. In October 2016, he was reassigned to Troop G, Zone 1, serving Wright and Texas counties. He was promoted to corporal on January 1, 2019, where he served as the assistant zone supervisor.
A native of Fresno, California, Sergeant Piccinino graduated from Earl F. Johnson High School in Hanford, California. He served in the United States Air Force and later earned a Bachelor of Public Administration in criminal justice from Park University in Parkville, Missouri.
Corporal Justin L. Dedmon
Effective January 1, 2025, Trooper Justin L. Dedmon was promoted to the rank of corporal and now serves as the assistant zone supervisor of Zone 1, which covers Texas and Wright counties.
Corporal Dedmon began his career with the Missouri State Highway Patrol on January 2, 2018, as a member of the 105th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Missouri State Highway Patrol Law Enforcement Academy on June 29, 2018, he was assigned to Troop A, Zone 15, serving Henry County. On January 1, 2020, he transferred to Troop G, Zone 1, where he continues to serve.
A native of Hartville, Missouri, Corporal Dedmon graduated from Hartville High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice from the College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri.
