EMPHASIS: Troop E Promotions Announced

Captain Jason J. Cluver, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, is pleased to announce the following promotions effective November 1, 2023.

Trooper Aaron T. Grainger was promoted to the rank of corporal and designated the assistant zone supervisor of Zone 9, which serves the citizens of New Madrid and Pemiscot counties. Grainger was appointed to the Patrol as a member of the 103rd Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol's Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, Missouri, he was assigned to Troop E, Zone 11, which serves the citizens of Stoddard County. Corporal Grainger is married and has three children.

Trooper Dillan A. Vandeven has been promoted to the rank of corporal and designated the assistant zone supervisor of Zone 11, which serves the citizens of Stoddard County. Vandeven was appointed to the Patrol as a member of the Patrol’s 106th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol's Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, Missouri, he was assigned to Troop C, Zone 14, which serves the citizens of St. Francois and Washington counties. On November 1, 2020, he transferred to Troop E, Zone 7, which serves the citizens of Mississippi, New Madrid, and Scott counties. Corporal Vandeven is married and has two children.
