Troop C Announces Promotion
Captain Kevin W. Malugen, commanding officer of Troop C, Weldon Spring, Missouri, announces the following Troop C promotion effective October 1, 2023.
Trooper Jacob S. Huskey is being promoted to the rank of corporal and will be assigned as the assistant zone commander in Zone 11, serving the citizens of Franklin County. Huskey was appointed to the Missouri State Highway Patrol on July 2, 2018, as a member of the 106th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop C, Zone 3, which serves the citizens of South St. Louis County. Huskey remained in that assignment until his promotion to corporal.
Corporal Huskey graduated from Lutheran High School South in Afton, Missouri, in 2016. After graduation he joined the United States Army Reserves and is currently still serving.
