EMPHASIS: Missouri State Highway Patrol Seeks Information On Hit And Run Fatal Traffic Crash In Henry County
On February 9, 2011, at approximately 8:45 p.m., a pedestrian was struck and killed while walking near the roadway on southbound Missouri Route 7, 100 feet south of County Road NW 251, or one-half mile north of the Clinton city limit sign in Henry County. The pedestrian, identified as Michael Ham, 42, of Clinton, Missouri, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators believe the vehicle involved in the crash may be a 1992-1995 teal or dark green Ford Taurus that was traveling southbound. The vehicle will have damage to its passenger side headlight assembly and windshield. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is asking for the public's help in identifying this motor vehicle. Anyone with information regarding the described vehicle is asked to call the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop A Headquarters, at 816-622-0800.
