Troop E Releases Enforcement Results
Captain Jeffrey N. Vitale, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, announces the results of a hazardous moving violation project conducted in Butler County. During the project, troopers stopped a total of 111 vehicles. The following is a summary of the enforcement contacts made:
12 -- Speed Summonses
31 -- Seat Belt Summonses
6 -- Hazardous Moving Summonses
34 -- Non-Moving Summonses
6 -- Misdemeanor Warrant Arrests
7 -- Misdemeanor Drug Arrests
2 -- Felony Drug Arrests
2 -- Driving While Intoxicated Arrests
99 -- Warnings
The only 100 percent survivable traffic crash is the one that never happens. Make sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint.
