Troop E Announces Promotion
Captain Jason J. Cluver, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, is pleased to announce the following promotion effective September 1, 2023.
Trooper Gregory T. Ulm has been promoted to the rank of corporal and designated the assistant zone supervisor of Zone 11, which serves the citizens of Stoddard County. Ulm was appointed to the Patrol on January 14, 2014, as a member of the 98th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol's Law Enforcement Academy in Jefferson City, Missouri, he was assigned to Troop G, Zone 4, Northern Howell and Shannon counties. In 2016, he transferred to Troop E, Zone 1, Butler and Ripley counties. In 2018, he transferred to Governor's Security Division, General Headquarters, Jefferson City. In 2020, he transferred to Troop E, Zone 11.
Corporal Ulm graduated from Dexter High School and holds a bachelor's degree in criminology from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri.
