EMPHASIS: Drug Arrests In Carroll County

Lt. Robert Powell, commanding officer of Troop A, Lee’s Summit, announces several drug arrests in Carroll County.

As a result of a joint narcotics investigation, several search warrants were served on Friday, June 20, 2008, at three locations in Carrollton, MO. The following people were arrested for drug related charges:

Brandon Wallace, 23, of Kansas City, MO.
Ashley Proctor, 20, of Carrollton, MO.
Alonzo Nicholas, 60, of Carrollton, MO.
Bessie Nicholas, 48, of Carrollton, MO.
Lesa Smith, 46, of Carrollton, MO.
Michael Dickerson, 42, of Kansas City, MO.

Al Lambert, 45, of Carrollton, was arrested due to a Carroll County misdemeanor warrant.

These individuals were turned over to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Department, the Carrollton Police Department, and the Highway Patrol were involved in the investigation. The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Troop A and F S.W.A.T. teams and the Ray County Sheriff’s Department tactical team assisted with the service of the warrants. The investigation continues. The charges for which these persons have been arrested are mere accusation and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
