EMPHASIS: New Troopers Assigned to Troop E


Captain George E. Ridens, commanding officer of Troop E, announces the assignments of four new troopers to Troop E. These officers began training at the Highway Patrol Academy on July 1, 2009, and graduated on December 18, 2009, after receiving comprehensive training covering all facets of law enforcement.
Trooper Adam R. Johnson will be assigned to Zone 2, which patrols Butler and Ripley counties. His training officer is Trooper Eric J. Ganime. Trooper Johnson is a graduate of Iroquois West High School in Gilman, Illinois, and Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois, where he earned a bachelor's of arts degree in law enforcement justice administration.
Trooper Jayson R. Spain will be assigned to Zone 2, which patrols Butler and Ripley counties. His training officer is Corporal Michael G. Slaughter. Trooper Spain is a graduate of Saxony Lutheran High School in Jackson, Missouri, and Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, where he earned a bachelor's of arts degree in international business.
Trooper Michael K. Martin will be assigned to Zone 3, which patrols Wayne County. His training officer is Trooper James A. Wilson. Trooper Martin is a graduate of Rolla High School in Rolla, Missouri, and attended East Central College in Union, Missouri.
Trooper Taremba Karizamimba will be assigned to Zone 8, which patrols New Madrid and Pemiscot counties. His training officer is Trooper Clark D. Parrott. Trooper Karizamimba is a graduate of Dangamuura High School, of Mutare, Zimbabwe, and Evangel Bible College, Seke, Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe, where he earned an associate's of arts degree in theology. He and his wife, Corinne (Allen) have two children, Johanne, 10, and Hannah, 9.
