EMPHASIS: Troop E Promotion Announced

Captain Philip E. Gregory, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, is pleased to announce the following promotion effective November 1, 2021.

Trooper James A. Rowe has been promoted to the rank of corporal and designated the assistant zone supervisor of Zone 3, Wayne County. Rowe was appointed to the Patrol on January 15, 2013, as a member of the 96th Recruit Class. After graduating from the Patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy, he was assigned to Troop B, Zone 4, Putnam and Sullivan counties. In October 2015, he transferred to Troop B, Zone 10, Randolph and Monroe counties. In July 2018, he transferred to Troop E, Zone 5, Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, and Scott counties. Corporal Rowe is married and has two children.

Too many people die in traffic crashes each year in Missouri. The choices you make when you’re behind the wheel matter. Make good choices, so you’ll never have to say, “If I could just go back …”
