Reynolds County Shooting: Second Person Succumbs To Injuries
A second person has succumbed to injuries sustained in a shooting incident which occurred on October 18, 2017, at a residence west of Ellington, Missouri, in Reynolds County. During the initial assault, three people were shot. Janet L. Nance, 72, died later that same day at a Saint Louis Hospital. On October 21, 2017, a second person died as a result of injuries sustained in the incident. He has been identified as James R. Nance, 86, of Ellington. He was the husband of Janet Nance. The remaining victim, a 73-year-old female, is recovering from wounds sustained in the incident. The investigation continues and is being handled by investigators with the Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control and members of the Reynolds County Sheriff’s Department.
