EMPHASIS: Homicide Suspect Surenders

Homicide suspect William Darrell Rose turned himself into authorities tonight. The suspect had driven to Polk County Texas, which is located 75 miles north of Houston, Texas. William Rose was at his sister’s home when he contacted the Polk County Sheriff’s Office at around 5:00 p.m. and turned himself in without incident. William Rose is cooperating with authorities from Livingston, Texas. William Rose is under arrest for the homicide of Marsha S. Lewis, a 46 year-old resident of Cainsville, Missouri. Mr. Rose and Marsha Lewis were living together at the time of her homicide. Warrants for William Rose were made earlier today.

The charges for which the individual has been arrested are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of the charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
