EMPHASIS: New Patrol Recruiter Assigned In Southeast Missouri

Colonel Ronald K. Replogle, superintendant of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, is pleased to announce the assignment of a new Patrol recruiter to the Southeast Missouri area. On September 1, 2010, Sergeant David B. "Brad" Haggett was designated as the Troop E full-time recruitment officer. Haggett is responsible for recruiting activities in Southeast Missouri, including Poplar Bluff, Sikeston, Caruthersville, Rolla, Ft. Leonard Wood, and surrounding areas.

In addition to his duties as a trooper, Haggett will attend community events, college career fairs, local school events, speaking engagements, and other activities in order to attract the best qualified individuals to the Patrol. Recruiters also assist with community alliance programs, administer selection testing, make presentations to young people, and serve as an information source for individuals interested in working for the Patrol.

Haggett is originally from the Silva, MO, area. Haggett holds a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice from Southeast Missouri State University. He is a 17-year veteran of the Patrol. Sgt. Haggett and his wife, Pam, have two daughters, Jessica and Lauren.

Individuals or groups interested in having Sgt. Haggett attend an event or to get more information can call 1-800-796-7000.
