EMPHASIS: Changes Announced For Cape Girardeau Driver Examination Station

Captain George E. Ridens, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, announces that the motorcycle skills portion of the testing process has been temporarily suspended on Thursdays at the Cape Girardeau Driver Examination Station until November 2014, due to another event at the site. Written examinations and Class E and Class F skills tests will be offered as normally scheduled. The motorcycle skills testing process is still offered at Cape Girardeau each Monday and Friday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and also at the Dexter Driver Examination Station each Thursday, when pavement is dry. For more information on testing availability, please contact the Driver Examination Division at (573) 840-9500.

In support of "The Drive To ZERO Highway Deaths," the Patrol encourages motorists to protect themselves and their passengers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Watercraft operators should ensure that everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life And Wear It!!
